About Kawa Rasul
Kawa Rasul provides assistance in criminal matters of both general and economic nature. He joined Sjöcrona Van Stigt in 2024 and was admitted to the Bar in February 2025.
Education and career
Kawa has obtained master’s degrees in criminal law and civil law as well as the practice-oriented master’s degree Toga aan de Maas at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his studies, Kawa gained valuable experience through internships at several renowned law firms and the Supreme Court of the Netherlands. After completing his studies, he spent three years as a lecturer in criminal law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Additionally, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from KU Leuven and completed the propaedeutic phase in Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Kawa regularly publishes on various topics within (criminal) law.
